Description
The Archives Macallan Distillery 28 Year Old is a rare and prestigious single cask expression from one of Scotland's most iconic distilleries. Released as part of 'The Archives' series by independent bottler Rare & Refine, this whisky offers a unique glimpse into the Macallan spirit through the lens of long-term maturation in a refill bourbon hogshead. Distillery: Macallan DistilleryAge: 28 Years OldCask Type: Refill Bourbon HogsheadSeries: The Archives Unlike the typical sherry-forward Macallan releases, this bourbon-matured expression highlights the distillery's delicate floral and fruity character, refined over nearly three decades. The presentation is equally impressive, featuring a decanter-style bottle and a beautifully crafted presentation box adorned with cartographic motifs, reflecting the 'rediscovered fragment of whisky history' theme of the series.
