Ardbeg Single Cask #4578 14 Year Old, Oloroso Sherry Cask, 2019, 54.1%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

84 / 100

This 14-year-old Scottish Islay single malt pairs a strong peat character with raisins, vanilla and oak. The darker fruit and oak notes give it some balance, though the bitterness and spice sound like a fairly bold combination.
