The smoke level has a nice progression here: medium peat on the nose, then more peat on the palate and a long, peaty finish. Citrus keeps threading through it, from lemon and lime up front to lemon alongside apple and pepper on the palate. The herbal finish gives that smoky character a clear endpoint. This feels like a lively, layered take on peated Highland malt, with enough variation to keep the smoke from being the only story.
