Ardmore Traditional Cask Litre, Bourbon & Quarter Cask, 2007, 46%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

86 / 100

The bourbon and quarter cask details give this whisky a clear point of interest. The notes balance vanilla and dried fruit with dry peat and pepper, a contrast I like. The astringent finish keeps the sweetness from feeling too easy.
