The slight coastal minerality gives this Arran a point of difference, while honey, apricot and lemon curd keep the nose generous and familiar. I’m drawn to the way that brighter fruit carries through as juicy stone-fruit acidity, with an oily texture adding some weight. White pepper and sweet herb make for a gently savoury turn at the medium finish. A thoughtful, fruit-led single malt with just enough coastal character to hold my interest.
