Ben Nevis Berrys' 43 Year Old, Batch No. 2, 1970, Berry Bros & Rudd, 44.7%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

91 / 100

The ripe mango and papaya with wood spice sound like a pleasing contrast, while polished wood and beeswax give it a quieter, mature side. I like that balance; the notes suggest plenty of layers without making the fruit and oak sound heavy.
