Benriach 40 Year Old, Bourbon & Port Cask, 2006, 50%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

88 / 100

The sweet orange, plum and dark-chocolate-coated berries make for an appealing, fruit-led direction. I’m a little cautious around such a rich style, but the walnut and kumquat finish gives it a more grounded edge.
