BenRiach Peated Cask Strength, Oloroso Sherry & Bourbon Cask, Batch No. 1, 2017, 56%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

87 / 100

This sounds firmly on the rich side, with sweet wood smoke and fruit bringing some lift. The dry, smoky finish keeps it from feeling too soft, and that contrast appeals to me.
