Bruichladdich Micro Provenance 12 Year Old, Virgin Oak Cask, Cask #3668, 2019, 61%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

82 / 100

The toasted oak and caramel are right up my alley, though the peppery, medicinal notes and lingering heat make this less easygoing. At the listed SGD 188.39 sale reference, I’d want those bolder edges to be part of the appeal—not just the oak.
