Caperdonich Pepper, lemon & smoke 12 Year Old, Refill Hogshead Cask, Cask #38.18, 1994, Scotch Malt Whisky Society, 59.4%

The lemon, pepper and smoke give this a lively edge, while creamy toffee keeps the palate from feeling too sharp. I like that contrast, though the bitter chocolate and coffee on the finish sound less bright.
