Coleburn Signatory Vintage Rare Reserve 30 Year Old, Oak Cask, Cask #100, 1970, Signatory, 57%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

87 / 100

Elegance and balance are the strongest points for me here. The nose is described as charming, and the palate pairs richness with balance rather than leaning on one quality alone. That gives the whisky a composed character, while the long, elegant finish sounds like a satisfying close. I tend to notice herbal and tea notes, but the appeal here is the combination of richness and grace.
