This leans into creamy fruit and warming oak rather than the bright, fresh direction I tend to favour. Banana on the nose gives the fruit character a clear point of reference, while clove and cinnamon bring a more spice-led palate. The lingering oak and spice sound like a coherent close, though the overall emphasis feels richer than lively. A clearly defined, oak-forward character, with the freshness preference only partly met.
