Dalwhinnie 18 Year Old, 1966, Wm. Cadenhead, 46%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

78 / 100

The nose brings fruit together with wood and cinnamon, which gives it a simple, appealing contrast. I like that it is not all one thing, though the notes also mention alcohol and spice, so it sounds a little more assertive than a purely fruity whisky.
