Glenalba 35 Year Old Sherry Cask Finish, Sherry Cask, 1981, Whyte & Mackay, 40%

The contrast between sweet vanilla and golden syrup on the nose, then dried fruit and a little spice on the palate, gives this a warm, rounded character. The lingering dried-fruit finish is a nice touch.
