Glenfarclas Cask Strength 12 Year Old, Sherry Cask, 2022, 59.6%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

86 / 100

Sherry, dried fruit and citrus make this appealingly varied, while the turpentine note on the nose sounds like a sharper edge than I usually look for. Brown sugar and lemon keep the palate interesting, with black pepper and campfire smoke on the finish.
