The fruit and sweetness lead, while ginger and baking spice bring a gentle counterpoint. I like that the oak is described as subtle on the palate, rather than the whole character leaning on it. The sherry notes of raisins and nuts add another layer without pushing the fresher pear, apple and lemon aside. It sounds measured and easy to follow, with enough contrast to keep the sweetness from feeling one-note.
