Glenfiddich 12 Year Old Special Reserve, Bourbon & Sherry Cask, 43%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

84 / 100

Pear and apple give this a fresh, approachable start, while the honey and gentle spice add a little warmth on the palate. It leans toward fruit and sweetness rather than the coastal notes I tend to prefer, but the oak stays subtle and the finish sounds clean and mellow.
