The most appealing detail here is the way caramelized ginger and subtle spices sit alongside vanilla, honey, and brown sugar. That gives the sweetness a little lift rather than leaving it one-note, which suits my preference for spice against a softer, sugary side. The dried fruit and oak add another layer to the palate, while the finish keeps the honey and brown sugar in view with a touch of dark chocolate.
