This leans into a rich, sweet sherry character, with dark chocolate and cacao keeping the fruit from feeling one-dimensional. The red apple and stewed pear bring a familiar, approachable thread, while the leather, dry oak and lingering spice make it feel more substantial than an easy fruit-led malt. The long finish is a real strength on paper; the dense mix of sherry, dark notes and spice may be less suited to anyone seeking a lighter style.
