Glengoyne 21 Year Old, Sherry Cask, 2013, 43%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

88 / 100

The sweetness has enough edge to keep things interesting. Cracked pepper and cinnamon sit against molasses, honey and red fruit, a contrast that suits my preference for spice without making the whole character seem sharp.
