88 / 100

Stewed plums, peach and orchard fruits give the nose a rounded, familiar fruit line, while candied lemon keeps it brighter. On the palate, fresh white grapes and malt meet roasted vegetables and zesty spice, so it is not all soft sweetness. The finish returns to fruit, moving through passion fruit, berries and red and black fruits. That balance of ripe, tart and savory details is appealing; fruit remains the thread tying the stages together.
