There’s a lovely sweet-and-smoky balance here: raisin, baked banana, and treacle bring plenty of depth, while the gentle smoke stays integrated rather than taking over. Vanilla and rich malt sweetness round out the palate, and the dried fruit, dark sugar, and spice carry through the long, warming finish. It sounds layered, but the familiar sweet notes keep the character approachable. A warmly appealing single malt with enough contrast to hold interest.
