Hazelburn Open Day May 2025 - Campbeltown Malts Festival 19 Year Old, Fresh Tawny Port Cask, 2025, 49.2%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

85 / 100

The fruit and jam notes give this Hazelburn a clear, welcoming centre, with cloves and nutmeg adding a more grown-up edge on the palate. Tangerine keeps that fruit character lively. The drying finish, with woodspice and sandalwood, sounds less easygoing than the opening, so this feels more layered than soft and simple. A good fit if you enjoy fruit-led whisky with a firm, spiced close.
