The sweetness sounds welcoming, but there's more going on than sweetness alone. Buttery vanilla on the nose leads into milky chocolate and honeyed cereal on the palate, a combination that fits my preference for approachable flavours. Lemon zest and orange boiled sweet bring some lift, while bitter orange peel on the medium finish gives the sweeter notes a firmer edge. That contrast is what makes this one interesting to me: the citrus has a clear part to play without crowding out the cereal and fruit. With water added, fresh green herbal notes appear on both nose and palate, offering a different angle on that sweet-and-citrus character. At 58.6%, it calls for some attention, but the documented flavours sound inviting rather than difficult.
