Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ryder Cup Gleneagles 2014, Oak Cask, 2014, 40%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

88 / 100

A Scottish blended whisky with oak, dried fruit and cocoa sounds like a comfortable fit for my taste. Those rounded notes get a little lift from gentle smoke and spice, giving it some contrast without leaning too heavily in one direction.
