Lagavulin Offerman Edition 11 Year Old, Charred Oak Cask, 2022, 46%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

87 / 100

The 11-year age, single malt type and Scottish Islay origin make this easy to place. Peat alongside chocolate and sweet berries gives it a warmly contrasting character, and the lingering, spicy finish sounds like a good fit for those flavours.
