Lagavulin 16 Year Old Litre, Bourbon & Sherry Cask, 2000, 43%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

80 / 100

The sweet sherry and fruit give this some balance, but the peat, iodine, and savory notes sound quite forceful. It seems more intense than the easygoing style I usually lean toward.
