Lairig Ghru Athspey Railway, Burn Stewart Distillers, 40%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

82 / 100

The rich, smoky nose and peat on the finish speak to my taste, while the smooth palate and touch of fruit give it a softer middle. I’d lean toward more sustained peat, but that contrast has its appeal.
