Langs Supreme 5 Year Old, Oak & Sherry Cask, Lang Brothers, 40%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

78 / 100

This leans warmly malty rather than bright, with gingerbread and light chocolate alongside sweet spice. The sherry, biscuit and oak give it a fuller, drier direction that sounds appealing, though it is not the freshest style I tend to prefer.
