The notes make this Linkwood sound nicely balanced: ripe apple and citrus meet delicate vanilla and oak, then the palate brings fruit and spice together with fine oak spice. I like that the character seems to shift naturally from bright fruit toward a warmer, caramel-and-spice finish, rather than resting on one flavour throughout. The description is clear about the main flavours and how they develop, which makes this an appealing, easy-to-picture 15-year-old single malt.
