Loch Lomond 13 Year Old, Hogshead Cask, Cask #409, 2005, Whisky Broker, 50%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

77 / 100

The syrupy palate has a lot going on, with vegetables, seaweed and wood, while the finish sounds simpler. That contrast gives it some interest, though the strong wood presence may not suit every preference.
