Lucifer's Gold Original, Bourbon Cask, 40%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

85 / 100

There’s a clear thread from dried peel and raisin on the nose to dates and walnuts on the palate. Toasted oak and sweet custard give the middle a warm direction, while cinnamon and pepper bring a firmer edge to the finish. That contrast is appealing: fruit and sweetness, with spice to balance them. A warmly composed blended whisky with a focused, easy-to-follow progression.
