87 / 100

The dried-fruit character is the most appealing thread here, moving from sweet aromas on the nose to darker fruit with caramel and coffee on the palate. Rich malt and toasted nuts add a rounded counterpoint, while the lightly smoky finish gives the sweetness a little contrast. It sounds generous without relying on fruit alone, and that balance makes this an appealing direction for a blended malt.
