Old Smuggler Finest Scotch Whisky Decanter, Castles of Scotland No. 3 Dunrobin, 1978, 43%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

84 / 100

The sweet, biscuit-led character moves into toffee, apple and mild oak, with vanilla and caramel carrying the finish. It sounds rounded and gently spicy, with sweetness clearly at the centre.
