Pappy Van Winkle Van Winkle 12 Year Old, New Charred Oak Cask, Lot No. B, 2025, 45.2%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

86 / 100

Cherry and tart apple give this bourbon an easy fruit appeal, with orange peel adding a sharper edge. The drying oak sounds like it may take over a little, but there’s plenty here to keep the fruit interesting.
