The five-year-old Dublin single malt has a useful point of distinction in its stated refill bourbon cask and cask-strength bottling at 59.3%. The notes lean bright and fruity, with citrus and orchard fruit alongside clove spice and oak; that gives the lighter nose and palate some definition. I like that the cask detail is specific without needing to assign each flavour to the wood. The medium-to-long finish sounds like a satisfying close, though the overall character remains on the lighter side.
