Praskoveyskiy 6 Year Old, Oak Cask, 40%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

84 / 100

It sounds like a pleasing contrast: a fresh, floral, gently sweet nose, followed by a palate that leans into caramel, vanilla and fruit, with soft spice and grain underneath. There’s also a lighter, slightly herbal and bitter edge in some descriptions, keeping the sweetness from feeling one-note. Oak and spice carry through alongside the sweet finish. A balanced-sounding whisky with enough contrast to hold interest, without turning into a flavour parade.
