Usually Scapa is a bit too polite for my cabinet but this distillery reserve actually shows up for work. At 58.5% ABV it has the cask strength backbone needed to balance those sweet fruit notes. It is a direct bourbon cask expression with a decent oak grip and enough warm spice to make it worth the higher proof.
