Speyside 2000 Cask Noir 21 Year Old - The Legendary Harvey Brothers, Bourbon Cask, Cask #7204, 2000, Brave New Spirits, 54.2%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

87 / 100

A 21-year-old Speyside single malt from Scotland, with a sweet vanilla and orchard-fruit nose and a richer butterscotch, toasted-almond palate. The long, drier finish sounds like a nice balance.

Silky-smooth with butterscotch, caramel, toasted almonds, pear, cherry blossom, gentle cinnamon spice, brown sugar cubes, and oaky toastiness.

Long and warming with lingering vanilla, oak, subtle spice, and a drier element.
