Springbank Society Bottling 14 Year Old, Sherry Cask, 2010, 57.1%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

83 / 100

The bright clementine and briny nose offer a lively contrast to the earthy oak and spice on the palate. I find that savoury character appealing, though the subtle vegetal finish is less to my taste than a sweeter close would be.
