Talisker 10 Year Old, Bottled 1990s, Classic Malts of Scotland, 45.8%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

80 / 100

Sweet malt and citrus give the smoky, peppery peat some balance. The coastal salt and medicinal peat make it feel more bold than gentle, but that contrast gives it a clear, appealing character.
