Tamdhu Vintage 2003 Single Cask, Sherry Cask

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

88 / 100

The dried fruit is the clearest draw here, with cherry and vanilla on the nose and dried apricot and orange zest in the finish. Dark chocolate, nuts and oak suggest a weightier palate than the fruit-led styles I tend to prefer, but the contrast sounds appealing.
