Yellowstone Limited Edition Bourbon 7 Year Old, French Armagnac Cask, 2020, 50.5%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

89 / 100

The long, warm finish gives this bourbon a clear point of distinction: toasted coconut and lingering oak meet spearmint and cinnamon spice without losing the sense of complexity. Before that, the palate balances caramel and dark fruit with roasted oak and a spicy kick, while the described buttery texture keeps the contrast inviting. There’s plenty to follow here, and the finish sounds like the part that will stay with the character longest.
