I usually look for heavy charcoal and sea salt, so this is a much lighter experience than my typical Islay drams. The age has brought out some intense tropical fruit like mango and passion fruit. While the peat is very subtle, that tiny hint of smoke in the finish adds a nice touch to the drying oak and eucalyptus.
