Description
Founded in 1775, equally revered and debated over, the legend of Glenturret still pervades as arguably the oldest working distillery in Scotland. Utilising the crystal waters of the Turret Burn in the Perthshire countryside for their malt production, Glenturret launched it's notorious, 5 star visitor attraction, The Famous Grouse Experience in the year 2002. The Crieff distillery produces traditional single malt. This is a special limited edition bottling of Glenturret single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1986 and bottled in 2014 by The Famous Grouse to commemorate the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, for which The Famous Grouse was the Official Whisky Provider. Only 1800 bottles were produced.
