Glenmorangie 10 Year Old, Bourbon Cask, 1991, 57.2%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

87 / 100

The malty graham and toffee interest me most here: they give the fruit and vanilla a grounded counterpoint. Coconut on the palate and subtle oak on the finish also suit my preference for a measured cask influence. It’s a single malt rather than my usual grain focus, but the balance has plenty to engage with.
