Description
A Highland malt distillery located near Tain along the Dornoch Firth. It was founded in 1843 and is today owned along with Ardbeg by the French multination, LVMH. The distillery's primary focus is its single malt brand, renowned for being produced using Scotland's tallest pot stills. This is a 10-year-old expression, bottled at 100 proof (57.2% ABV) and often described as unchill-filtered, undiluted, and matured in mountain oak casks. It was originally released for the duty-free market.
