Ledaig Spanish Sherry Wood Finish 18 Year Old, Oloroso Sherry Cask, Batch No. 3, 2016, 46.3%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

91 / 100

the smoke is a clear part of this whisky’s character, with tar and ash alongside juicy red fruit. that contrast makes it an appealing fit for my taste, without the fruit pushing the peat into the background.
