Springbank 18 Year Old, Sherry & Bourbon Cask, 2010 Release, 2010, 46%

A Maltiply member's tasting notes and whisky impression.

87 / 100

The citrus and aniseed give the rich fruit a brighter edge, while salty, lightly smoky notes add contrast. It sounds bold and layered, with plenty of weight rather than a clean, crisp feel.
