Description

Decanter weight: 1583g. An old Scottish blending company that was founded in 1863. It became part of the Distillers Company Limited in 1937 and is best-known for bottling the Abbot's Choice and Chequers blends. It also marketed the Linkwood single malt brand after being granted the license to the distillery. This Blended Scotch Whisky is presented in a ceramic decanter, often in the shape of an Abbot or monk. These decanters were produced primarily during the 1960s and 1970s, with some bottlings extending into the 1980s. The brand was created by John McEwan & Co. Ltd., based in Leith, Scotland.
